DESCRIPTION:ONLINE\n(9th to 7th November 2021) \nThe Online tournament:\nThe Online tournament will be played on lichess.org and consist of different age groups: U-8\, U-10\, U-12\, U-14. \nThe tournament in each age group will consist of two stages: the Qualifier Stage and the Final stage. \nThe Qualifier stages will be played by two online 9-round Swiss System tournaments. The second stage event (The Finals) will consist of a 16-player Knock-out tournament\, based on 2 games (with alternate colours). \nThe age groups:\n• Open Under 8\n• Open Under 10\n• Open Under 12\n• Open Under 14\n• Girls Under 8\n• Girls Under 10\n• Girls Under 12\n• Girls Under 14 \nAll tournament participants will receive electronic certificates of their participation. \na. Winners and runners up (1-3 places) will receive electronic diplomas. \nb. Players taking 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd places in the category U-8\, U10 (open & girls) will be awarded a free online 1.5-hour group lecture with GM Dmitry Gordievsky. \nc. Players taking 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd places in the U-12\, U-14 (open & girls) category will be awarded a free online 1.5-hour group lecture with GM Boris Gelfand – FIDE World runner-up Champion (FIDE World Chess Championship 2012). \nTournament official website: https://chessyes.online/
